The information for incoming calls is displayed on a 3-line backlit LCD and, if unanswered, the call is directed to a 15-minute digital answering machine. Flashing lights on the handsets' antennae signal the arrival of new messages. Should the power go out, messages are safely stored in flash memory.

One particularly useful feature is one that few cordless phones include: last-5-number redial. Otherwise, the phone is pretty straightforward in its features with exceptional range and call clarity for a 2.4GHz system. Other features include: remote message retrieval, 50-entry call waiting/caller ID log, downloadable ring tones, intercom, and call transfer.

Given its reliable performance, the Panasonic KX-TG2432B is a very low-priced system and is an excellent option for most households.
