Panasonic's CT-27SL15 is a budget-minded 27-inch TV that provides basic good performance and appealing features. The standard 4:3 aspect ratio screen has a flat front to reduce distortion and glare.

The picture is processed by a 2-line comb filter, with horizontal edge correction to produce sharp images with clean, crisp contours. The silver cabinet has a gray border surrounding the screen to set off the picture, and twin stereo speakers flank the screen. Hidden behind a small door on the front panel are control buttons and a set of composite video inputs for the quick connection of a game console or camcorder.

The stereo speakers can be set to keep the volume level steady whether viewing programs or commercials.
