The Oster Toaster Oven-Broiler is a stylish, functional unit that performs a full-range of cooking chores. Available in white or black (model 6236), this unit has a roomy (12 x 10-inch) interior that can accommodate up to six slices of bread, a whole roasting chicken, a 9-inch pie plate, or mini muffin tray. It comes with a removable, multi-position wire rack, and versatile bake/broil pan. Three dials control the function (toast, bake, broil, or keep warm); oven temperature (150-450 degrees); and toast/oven timer. A handy power light indicates when the oven is set to begin warming. With the timer, you can set the exact cooking time needed--up to 60 minutes. At the end of the set time, a bell sounds and the oven will turn off automatically. The timer can also be set to stay on if a longer cooking time is required. The interior heats up quickly and maintains a consistent temperature for even cooking. A slide-out oven rack, which moves forward as the door is opened, provides easier access to cooked foods. Other features include stay-cool door and side handles, a full-view glass door, slide-out crumb tray, continuous clean interior, and wrap-around cord storage.
