Motorola V188 GSM Phone

Date Published: 12/14/07

The rail-less design of the StairMaster 4200 PT offers a number of benefits in a home stair climber. It saves space, a bonus if you have a restricted workout area at home and of course it means there is no way to cheat during your workouts and lean all your body weight on the rails to sneak a breather. The unit offers just upper handlebars to maintain stability. In other respects the 4200 PT is close in design and performance to the StairMaster stair climbers you've likely used at a gym or health club. The electronic console is clear and easy to operate and tracks time, step rate, distance traveled, floors climbed and calories burned. The stair climber offers 4 different workout programs each with 20 levels of resistance for plenty of variation in your workouts. While the cost of the StairMaster 4200 PT may be high, it is a quality machine backed up by the StairMaster brand that will deliver years of effective workouts.

Pros: Gym-quality unit; easy to use features; StairMaster reliability.
Cons: Quality always comes at a price and the 4200 PT is no exception; lacks a heart rate monitor.
