Motorola RAZR V3 GSM Mobile Phone

Date Published: 8/23/05

The Motorola RAZR V3 GSM is a quad-band phone that is loaded with most every feature available on the market, despite its sleek aluminum design.

One of the first things you'll notice upon opening this very thin phone is the large 262,000-color internal LCD, which provides excellent clarity for pictures. Unfortunately, the built-in camera doesn't take advantage of this, as it produces only adequate pictures and video.

However, the RAZR does support a 4x zoom and numerous other editing features. Another downside is the flat keypad, which takes some getting used to.

One feature that doesn't disappoint is the speakerphone, which allows for very crisp 2-way conversations. When making regular telephone calls, clarity and range are excellent, but due to the feature-rich design the battery provides only 4-5 hours of talk time and 4 days of standby.

Equipped with Bluetooth, the RAZR synchs easily with other phonebooks, PCs, and PDAs. Other features include: MMS messaging, voice memo recording, voice dialing, and an excellent external color display.

If you're looking for one of the thinnest and most stylish phones on the market and can deal with a few drawbacks, the Motorola RAZR V3 GSM is for you.
