MinkaAire San Francisco Classic F528

Date Published: 6/28/05

For those who favor contemporary design, there can be no fan as heartwarming as the MinkaAire San Francisco Classic F528. Sculptural in appearance, the down rod consists of three smaller rods. The effect is light and unobtrusive--almost as if the fan is suspended by wires. The F528 has three 56-inch blades pitched at 13 degrees for good air circulation, and wall-mounted touch controls add convenience. The fan can be mounted on ceilings with slopes less than 30 degrees. Although this unit is dated in terms of the bells and whistles many consumer expect from today's ceiling fans, it remains a classic among architects and designers. There is no remote, heater, nor light kits for this product. You can get a simple downlight on the very similar F529 model. The F528 is available in three finishes: white and chrome with high gloss white blades (F528-WH/CH), black and chrome with birdseye maple blades (F528-BK/CH), and brushed steel and chrome with birdseye maple blades (F528-BS/CH). It comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
