Although its looks are enticing, the CWG3100AA lacks a self-cleaning cycle. We'd rather have this important feature on our oven, but if you're cooking is limited and you don't mind manually cleaning the occasional oven mess, this product is an attractive cost-cutting option.

When it comes to features, what this model offers is pretty much standard for a 24-inch gas wall oven. The controls are electronic and digital, and include a timer and clock. A delay start allows the oven to start cooking dinner, even in your absence. Broiling is done in the lower compartment, so there is no onboard storage.

Although these features are common for this oven size, they fall short of what is available on larger gas ovens. If you are limited to a 24-inch model, this product is typical of what you will find. Should you have the ability to fit a larger oven in your kitchen, you will be able to choose from many exciting, but more costly features.

When limited to a 24-inch model we would recommend Maytag's CWG3100AA, although if budget allows, we would opt for a model that offers a self-cleaning feature.
