The Marmot Couloir EQ Reg is a high-performance down sleeping bag designed for cold-weather comfort and roomy size where slight extra weight is not critical.
The paprika-and-gray-colored nylon shell is water repellant, windproof, and designed to hold in goose down; it is cut with particular room in the shoulders, tapering down to the feet. The goose down fill is 800-fill power that provides good insulation when it is dry; it is relatively light and packs to a small size. Baffles use a stretch tricot for strength and durability. The hood has a surrounding muff that is comfortable against the face. There are drawcords and a down-insulated draft collar for extra warmth. There is a draft tube pocket that is handy for small items.
The zipper is faced by a draft tube as well as anti-snag material. The two-way zipper has a lock so it will not accidentally open during the night. The footbox has eleven baffles to help ensure down loft and hence warm feet. It is accompanied by a nylon stuff sack and larger cotton storage sack. The bag comes in regular and long sizes.
The Marmot Couloir is a high-end sleeping bag designed for moderately cold temperatures at dry sleeping conditions; it is relatively roomy, at the cost of somewhat heavier weight.
