Logitech's Harmony 880 is a stylish universal remote control that delivers simple management and coordination of up to 15 devices.

This well-designed, rechargeable unit is ergonomically contoured, with brushed chrome, charcoal accents, and sculpted buttons that are identifiable by touch. A 1X1-1/2-inch color LCD screen offers eight customizable color icons that represent various functions (watch TV, watch a DVD, listen to a CD, etc.). The backgrounds can be customized as well.

To begin using the Harmony 880, link it to a computer via the included USB cable. Go online to Logitech's website, where an interactive question-and-answer session will prompt you to enter the model numbers of up to 15 components. Once you determine the components' identities and functions, the website will download the proper commands to the remote.

A compact docking station recharges the remote in a horizontal position whether it is at rest or in use, and the lithium-ion battery can hold a charge for up to a week. The Harmony 880 is compatible with a Mac or PC, and it only requires a CD-ROM drive, USB port and Internet access to get set up.
