LifeSpan TR2000-HR treadmill

Date Published: 5/3/06

If a lack of space is the only thing stopping you from purchasing a home treadmill then take a look at the fold-up TR2000-HR from LifeSpan.

The space-efficient design of the TR2000-HR makes it ideal for anyone living in an apartment or condo. The motor is situated under the frame, which cuts down on the length of the treadmill, while it still maintains 54 inches of cushioned running surface. It also means you are never likely to kick the hood as you walk or run, no matter how close to the console you get.

Once folded up the treadmill measures 58 inches in height and just over 30 inches in width, small enough to be stored in a closet. The hydraulic assisted foldout system makes it a breeze to open and close.

In operation, the LifeSpan TR2000-HR treadmill does all the basics well. The 2 HP motor is at the low end of acceptable power for a home treadmill but still provides sufficient power for most users. The ten incline levels, grip pulse heart rate monitor and a selection of programmed exercise routines are enough to keep things interesting. This is a well-constructed, good value home treadmill.
