Legacy Car Audio's LEQ-12 is a versatile graphic equalizer at a very reasonable price. The LEQ-12 divides up the available equalization bands differently for the front and rear channels, devoting five bands for the front two channels and seven (six plus the subwoofer) for the rear channels. This gives you the option to really carve out the sound of your rear speakers.
The front frequency bands are 150Hz, 400Hz, 1,000Hz, 2,400Hz, and 10,000Hz (+/-10dB), and the rear bands are 60Hz, 150Hz, 400Hz, 1,000Hz, 2,400Hz, and 15,000Hz (+/-12dB). The subwoofer has a separate boost with an adjustable crossover. Unlike many car equalizers that have a passive crossover, the LEQ-12 has an active (electronic) crossover selectable at 80Hz, 120Hz, or 160Hz, all with a 12dB-per-octave slope.
The LEQ-12 takes up a half-DIN space in your dashboard. A front-panel line input for a portable audio player input adds even more flexibility. The overall frequency response is 20Hz to 20,000Hz, and the signal-to-noise ratio is 90dB (or greater). By using separate controls for the front and rear channels, the LEQ-12 car equalizer provides much needed flexibility, and it comes at a great price.Warranty
