The KitchenAid KHB300WH is more than a hand blender: It's a complete chopping, mixing, whipping tool in a box.

It comes with a slender power shaft, chopping blade stem, whisk stem, 32-ounce measuring/mixing clear plastic beaker, and fully functional 3-cup chopping bowl with stainless-steel S-blade and cover. You also get a cotton twill drawstring storage bag with three pockets, which holds the immersion blender body and its two shafts together for convenient storage.

The blender is ultra powerful, with nine speeds that basically cover any type of mixing, blending, or chopping you might need. A touch-control button activates the power--depress to start and release to stop. The handle is contoured so your hand can rest comfortably on the shaft during use.

The whisk attachment is so efficient you'll have fluffier eggs, puddings, and whipped cream in a matter of seconds. The blade and whisk attachments snap onto the motor shaft easily and are released by depressing the soft-grip ejector buttons.

The mini chopper is ideal for chopping up to 7 ounces of nuts, or mincing up to 12 cloves of garlic or up to 2 ounces of herbs. Processing is fast--in less than 25 seconds for most tasks.

The chopper bowl has a rubberized base to keep it in place during processing. It should not be used to chop extremely hard foods, such ice or coffee beans.
