KitchenAid Architect Series 30-Inch Freestanding Electric Range KERA205P
Date Published: 4/18/06
We just can't find anything we don't like about the KitchenAid Architect Series 30-Inch Freestanding Electric Range KERA205P.
When you step up to this model you'll immediately benefit from the outstanding baking results of true convection. Complete with a third hidden element and a fan, this model can circulate hot air around foods, producing faster and more even results than those found in conventional ovens. Using the convection feature is easy as pie, thanks to the EasyConvect conversion system that automatically converts conventional temperatures to convection settings.
Like baking, broiling is just a little bit better in this range as well. The broiler can be used on two different settings--econo-broil for small cuts of meat and maxi-broil for larger ones. Spacious as well as versatile, the oven cavity measures a plentiful 4.8 cubic feet and has a bake element rating of 2400 watts. It also has a self-clean feature that adjusts to various soil levels and time selections.
Moving up to the surface you'll find four electric ceramic-glass cooking elements, two of which offer adjustable dual circuits. To make the most of these dual elements, choose the setting that is closest to your pan size. Matching elements to pans in this way helps to ensure even and efficient use of heat.
Attractive, clean, and fresh looking, the KERA205P is offered in black, white, biscuit, or stainless steel. Add one of these upgraded ranges to your kitchen and you'll not be sorry.
Pro: sleek and clean range with convection, adjustable broiler, dual elements and versatile self-clean settings
Con: a bit more expensive than conventional ranges
