The Kidde KN-COPP-B is a battery-powered CO detector that can be installed on a wall or ceiling.

What's unique about it is that it's the only battery-powered detector with a backlit LED screen, making it easier to read in low-light situations. The screen is slightly larger than many other comparable models to help with readability, as well.

The KN-COPP-B has a battery compartment that loads from the front for easy battery changes. It alerts users when it's time to replace the alarm (after 7 years of use). Keyhole mounting makes the unit a bit tenuous for mounting on the wall, but is fine for ceilings. The unit takes three alkaline AA batteries (included).

Besides the continuous digital display, the Kidde KN-COPP-B also has a peak-level button, which displays the highest CO recorded level since the unit was reset or unplugged, and a test-reset button, which allows you to immediately silence the alarm.
