Kidde Carbon Monoxide Alarm KN-COEG-3

The Kidde KN-COEG-3 warns you about explosive gases, such as natural gas and propane as well as carbon monoxide.
It has a 6-foot cord that coils into the unit, allowing for either direct plug-in to a wall outlet or for use on a tabletop. This unit has a digital display that continuously shows CO levels. It also has a peak-level button that displays the highest CO recorded level since the unit was last reset or unplugged. A test/reset button allows for quick and easy tests and for silencing the alarm if necessary.
If the unit senses dangerous levels of CO, an 85-decibel horn will sound four quick beeps followed by a pause and will then repeat. If it senses gas, the alarm sounds for one second followed by a one second pause, and then it repeats. The word "gas" will show in the display.
As CO detectors have a finite life, the Kidde KN-COEG-3 will signal that it's time to replace the unit after 7 years of operation.
