Kenwood KRC-235 in-dash cassette player

With digital formats ruling the kingdom of car audio, in-dash cassette players have predictably fallen out of favor. However, many people still have a sizeable collection of cassettes, and for them the Kenwood KRC-235 is a sensible option.
The KRC-235 is an attractive in-dash cassette player that includes controls for a CD changer or even a MiniDisc player. There is also an auxiliary input for the addition of a portable CD or MP3 player, so all of your bases are covered.
The KRC-235 has Kenwood's ec4 equalizer for fine-tuning the sound. The frequency response for cassette playback is 30Hz to 14,000Hz, and the signal-to-noise ratio is 70dB. This obviously cannot compare to CD or MP3 playback, but it's good for a cassette player.
The KRC-235 has a built-in amplifier that provides an adequate 20 watts (average) into four channels. There is one set of pre-amp outputs. The unit also has an AM/FM tuner with preset memory for 12 stations. The KRC-235 in-dash cassette player lets you hang onto your cassette collection for just a little longer.Warranty
