Kenmore 75121 air conditioner

The Kenmore 75121 air conditioner cools well and won't break the bank. Plus, it has a number of extra features that offer additional convenience or comfort. Like most window/wall air conditioners, the 75121 has white-on-white styling. We discovered the hard way that care should be taken when installing or cleaning the front filter to prevent damage to the removable face. The removable face is plastic, and not as durable as we expected.
The Kenmore 75121 has handy electronic controls. The control panel allows the user to quickly and easily change the temperature, the fan speed or set the timer. There are three fan speeds. This model can also be set to have a delayed start, automatic sleep mode and automatic restart in case of power outage. Multi-directional vents help direct the cool air. We especially like the remote control, which gives us the convenience of fingertip controls. It's worth noting that this air conditioner is rather noisy when operated on its highest levels.
The Kenmore 75121 has a permanent filter that will need to be cleaned periodically, but because it is re-usable, you will not have the extra expense of buying replacement filters. The real question, however, is how well does it cool? This model performs like a pro, effectively cooling one large single room at a time. It is rated 12,000 Btu (British thermal units) per hour. This Btu/hour rating measures cooling power, and in the case of the Kenmore 75121, this air conditioner has adequate power. Unlike some models, this unit has a dehumidifier function, which is helpful in homes where moisture or humidity might be an issue.
We like the Kenmore 75121 air conditioner for its quiet, yet powerful operation. It has convenient controls and several extra features, and didn't send us into sticker shock.
