The JVC TH-C6 is a beautiful home theater system featuring tall, slender floor-standing speakers that add an elegant look to any decor. An engineering degree isn't required to set up this system, as it uses JVC's Smart Surround Set-Up that optimizes the speaker configuration based on actual room acoustics and speaker location.

The system features a five-disc changer that is compatible with DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, DVD-RAM/R/RW, CD, CD-R/RW, SVCD/VCD, and MP3, WMA, and JPEG files stored on disc. A progressive scan signal is output through the component video output, and the unit also has S-video and composite video outputs.

The front and center speakers use a two-way design, while the rear channels are omni-directional, so they can be set in a variety of places while maintaining a wide, non-localized position. The speakers come with floor-standing towers, but they can be removed from the stands and wall- or shelf-mounted. The total power supplied to the speakers is an impressive 1,000 watts.
