The screen, which is a wide-format LCD, is framed in black and set into a slim silver cabinet with sleek lines, with stereo speakers below the screen and a detachable swivel stand for use on any table or counter. A built-in ATSC tuner and CableCARD slot deliver high-definition content straight from an antenna, cable, or satellite source.

The wide-format screen displays at a resolution of 1,365X768, with up-conversion of video to 770p for a crisp, sharp picture. A 3-D Y/C digital comb filter eliminates jagged edges and rainbow effects, and colors are lifelike and vibrant when configured using the five-point color management system. The LT-37X776 adapts film content for the video screen using 3:2 pulldown conversion, which ensures that action appears smooth and natural. Four color temperature settings and four picture aspect modes provide the viewer with personal control over the picture.

The internal stereo speakers are rated at 20 watts of total output, and sound options include enhanced bass, simulated surround sound, and BBE high-definition audio.
