JVC's KD-G110 combines a bold look with an equally bold sound, all for a very low price. The KD-G110 CD receiver has a built-in amplifier that provides a sufficient (if somewhat pedestrian) 18 watts (continuous) into four channels. It should be noted that it is a CEA2006-compliant 18-watt rating. There's also a set of pre-amp outputs for adding an external amplifier or subwoofer.

The CD player is compatible with audio CD and CD-R/RW, but it will not play MP3 files. It has a customizable equalizer for adjusting bass and treble, and there are six factory equalizer presets. The HS-II tuner has memory for 18 FM and 6 AM stations. The frequency response is 5Hz to 20,000Hz, and the signal-to-noise ratio is 96dB.
