Perfect for those who prefer a gas oven over the more common electric oven, this model is the largest available, unless you're willing to pay for a model double the price.

Equipped with far more features than the typical gas model, the JGW8130 is a self-cleaning oven. It offers baking and broiling together in one very large oven cavity, made even larger thanks to its hidden bake element. Although it lacks Jenn-Air's renowned convection system, the JGW8130 offers a balanced bake system that provides more even heating than is commonly found in built-in gas ovens.

Variable broil and variable self-cleaning modes make this oven more technologically advanced than usual. With the JGW8230, you can choose the broil temperature that works best for the dish you're preparing instead of being limited to one high-heat 500-degree setting. Likewise, the variable self-cleaning mode allows you to match cleaning time to the degree of soil present in the oven.

The Jenn-Air JGW8130 offers plenty of the convenient features more often seen on electric ovens. Keep warm, cook & hold, delay bake, a true programmable Sabbath mode and excellent electronic controls make up the well-thought-out touch panel of this oven. One option that is not available on this Jenn-Air mode, or at least not yet, is the stainless-steel finish. You'll have to be content with black or white glass if you decide to go with JGW8130.

If Jenn-Air's JWG8230 is in your plan, you'll need to ensure that you have a larger than usual space to work with. A 30-inch oven cutout will be required in order to install this product. Typically, such a large cutout is designed for an electric oven, but your installer can make arrangements to prepare the space to accept this gas model.
