The IQAir HealthPro Plus is a top-of-the-line air purifier. It goes one step beyond the highly rated IQAir HealthPro by offering three filters, including a chemical- and odor-trapping filter known as the V5 Cell.

The V5 Cell Filter is one of the most complex and effective filters we've seen because it uses a five-chamber filtration method, and each chamber has activated carbon and aluminum to trap gases and odors. What does this mean for the consumer? Ultimately, it means cleaner air in your home. We're happy to report the IQAir HealthPro Plus can absorb more than 200 gases and odors from the air. It also absorbs a few contaminants that other air purifiers sometimes struggle with, such as dust mites and paint fumes.

The V5, HyperHEPA and pre-filter are easy to remove, and they can be replaced individually. Keep in mind that the V5 Cell filter, although pricey to replace, lasts one to two years. And, thanks to a built-in electronic filter monitoring system, you'll be alerted when a filter change is necessary.

This remote control gives the user a fine-tuning option, and the ability to adjust the unit's noise level or cleaning level by remote. The IQAir HealthPro Plus is a bit bulky; it weighs 35 pounds. Still, it's a small inconvenience for an air purifier that stands head and shoulders above the crowd.
