The Infinity Primus 140 speakers are an amazing combination of performance and value. Using much of the same technology found throughout the Infinity product line, these speakers are small and compact but deliver a strong, accurate sound.

Each Primus 140 uses a 4-inch woofer made with a Metal Matrix Diaphragm (MMD) similar to the Ceramic MMD employed in Infinity's top-end models. The 3/4-inch tweeter uses the same material, and it has a waveguide that disperses high frequencies to create a wider listening area. The drivers are mounted in a bass reflex cabinet that provides an improved response.

Although the Primus 140 speakers are relatively heavy, they can be mounted on a wall--in fact, there are rubber bumpers on the back of the speakers specifically to reduce vibrations when wall mounted. Removing the black grilles reveals attractive silver speaker baffles. The Primus 140 speakers are a very affordable way to experience what Infinity is all about.
