The Huffy Surfside Cruiser is a comfortable ride but despite the budget price tag we still question the overall value of this fun bike. The wide saddle seat is cushioned with added springs for a super comfortable ride and the higher handlebar stem maintains an upright seating position that reduces stress on the lower back. These features alone should make the Huffy Surfside a fun bike that can be ridden for long stretches. Unfortunately, the overall poor quality of construction means that this bike will likely be anything but fun over a period of time thanks to a series of annoying glitches. Everything about this bike feels cheap and flimsy. The fender tends to catch on the front wheel as it rotates and the coaster brakes lack any stopping power. If you're looking for an inexpensive fun bike we suggest you ignore the Huffy Surfside.
