The Hamilton Beach Stay or Go 6-Quart Slow Cooker 33163 lets you cook a meal at home and then transport it to a pot lock supper, party, or get-together without worrying about spilling the contents. This unit has a 6-quart capacity removable stoneware crock, glass lid with rubber gasket, stirring/serving spoon, and power base with control knob and indicator light. Specially designed wire clips latch the lid in place for easy carrying.

Like all slow cookers, the Stay or Go is designed to heat foods slowly on a low-to-moderate heat setting, which brings out the flavor and tenderizes meats for hearty soups and stews. The Slow Cooker's greatest advantage is its convenience. Just add your ingredients, cover, and set the dial control switch to either low or high, depending on when you need the meal to be ready. Cooking on the low setting is the preferred method if time allows. This setting utilizes a very low heat and gently cooks food for a period of 6-8 hours. The high setting cooks foods in about 4 hours.

There is also a keep warm setting, which can be used to keep cooked foods at the proper serving temperature. Another innovative feature is the nameplate on the front of the unit, which lets you insert one of the preprinted recipe name cards (Meat Balls, Jambalaya, Hot Wings, etc.) or create your own custom label to identify the contents of the pot for your guests.
