The floating lid is made to accommodate sandwiches of any thickness. For pizza, open-faced sandwiches, or bruschetta, the lid can be locked in the upright position. This unit features two indicator lights, located on the lid, which illuminate when power is on and when the unit is heated and ready for use. It takes only six minutes to preheat the press.
