Hamilton Beach has simplified the concept of slicing and shredding with its unique Change-a-Bowl Slicer/Shredder. The unit is designed to work perfectly with GladWare 6-cup plastic bowls so that each time you use it, you can substitute a fresh, clean bowl. The Change-a-Bowl Slicer/Shredder makes food preparation quicker and easier than ever.

The machine comes with a top-mounting motor head with handle, clear food chute and cover, permanent clear work bowl, stainless-steel slice/shred disc, fine shred/crinkle cut disc, and storage lid. The unit assembles quickly; simply place the motor atop the food chute/cover and insert a disc on the motor post. A motor post with a disc lock holds the disc in place. Once the motor assembly is ready, place a GladWare bowl into the permanent work bowl and attach the motor.

As you slide foods through the chute, using the food pusher to direct it toward the blade, the food is sliced or shredded in seconds. To process another ingredient, simply switch bowls. This unit makes short work of tacos, salad bar, pizza fixings, and more. You can even store leftovers right in the GladWare bowls. A starter pack of three bowls and lids comes with the unit and additional bowls can be purchased separately. Unused bowls nest neatly inside the bowl for storage and the extra cutting disc fits in the base of the work bowl when not in use.
