Gregory Baltoro technical backpack

The Gregory Baltoro is a serious technical backpack. The Baltoro technical backpack uses a new pivoting suspension that is designed to move with your body and provide a more comfortable fit, allowing relatively heavier loads. It is often difficult to find contents stashed in large packs; to alleviate this problem, the Baltoro technical backpack offers top, front and bottom zippered access to the main compartment.
A top lid pocket holds essentials such as rain gear and small items. A large front pocket uses a water-resistant zipper to protect items. Inside the main compartment, there is a hydration sleeve (reservoir sold separately) and dual tube ports. The waistbelt and harness use dual-density laminated foam materials to add tough, but comfortable cushioning. There is one aluminum stay to support loads and the suspension system contours to your belt angle and pivots with your body movements. Side panels add stiffening, and crossover compression straps firm up loads. Extras include two ice-ax loops, quick-release sleeping pad straps, and stretch side pockets.
For better protection and wear, the bottom of the pack uses a waterproof tarpaulin material. The Baltoro technical backpack comes in four sizes. The pack comes in either a conifer green or spruce green color. This technical backpack is designed for multi-day trips and heavy loads (approximately 45 pounds). It uses a very rugged design and provides unusually good accessibility. It is somewhat heavier than other technical backpacks, but this also provides durability. The Baltoro technical backpack is a good pack for the demanding multi-day user.
