Graco Pack n Play Twins Bassinet 9999SOU

Date Published: 4/7/08

The Graco Pack 'n Play Twins Bassinet is ideal for parents of multiples or for people who care for more than one baby at a time. Although it moonlights as a standard Pack 'n Play play yard, the Twins Bassinet version also features two bassinet inserts to accommodate two sleeping infants. The bassinets are for use by children who weigh less than 15 pounds each, and Graco reminds users that only one baby should be placed in each section. Additionally, the play yard bassinets should never be in place if a child is placed in the lower portion of the play yard.

That said, though, the dual bassinets seem to be a handy feature, and each comes complete with Graco signature quilted bumper and mattress pads, as well as dual canopies. The bassinet attachments affix to the sides of the play yard in a secure manner and provide a cozy resting place for infants. Plus, when the babies outgrow the bassinet feature, the Pack 'n Play Twins Bassinet can still be used as a play yard for one child at a time and for children up to 30 pounds. The Pack 'n Play has wheels to easily move it from room to room and it fits through standard doorways. We like the curved, clean lines of the Pack 'n Play Twins Bassinet and the fact that it can be used for infants and toddlers.

We find the Pack 'n Play Twins Bassinet is too weighty and cumbersome for air travel, even when stored in its handy travel bag; if you'll be racking up frequent flyer miles, consider a smaller version of the Pack 'n Play series. This model is, however, ideal for indoor or limited outdoor use, as well as for taking on road trips to visit relatives.

Pros: Two bassinet inserts, locking wheels, portable from room to room
Cons: Too weighty and cumbersome for air travel

Warranty
1 year, limited
