If you're looking for a high chair that doesn't require a set of tools and a degree in physics to build, then Graco's Laura Ashley Contempo High Chair is worth a look.

This model comes fully assembled; at most, you'll need a pair of scissors to cut the tape on the box. Fortunately, pre-assembly isn't the only thing we like about this high chair. For those with small living spaces, the Contempo High Chair offers one of the slimmest folds among the current generation of high chairs. It also features six-position height adjustment, three-position recline and a machine-washable seat pad that is easy to wipe clean, thanks to covered seams. We like the dishwasher-safe tray insert and we were pleased with the tray height (some high chair trays are just too tall for most babies), but we did wish the food didn't collect between the insert and the tray.

Our testers did lodge one complaint: The footrest cannot be adjusted to different height levels. Still, because of its slim fold (we can fit easily store it in the pantry; some people report they can even store it between the refrigerator and the wall) and easy-to-clean surface, we give the Laura Ashley Contempo High Chair high marks. Oh, and the best feature of all? It performs comparably to pricey Italian import high chairs, making its moderate price even more appealing.
