The GoLite Infinity is a medium-capacity backpack designed for weekend trips; it uniquely employs a very light frame design to reduce overall weight.

The denim-colored or sun or night pack uses a top-loading design with a floating lid for adjustability, and has a zippered security pocket inside. There are also two zippered watertight bellows pockets on the front of the pack with mesh expansion panels for quick access.

The framesheet is made of flexible corrugated polystyrene and is supported by five aluminum dowels that are contoured to the wearer's back. These combine to provide good carrying capacity, stability, and comfort. The back panel uses a wicking foam for light weight and breathability. The hip belt, lumbar pad, and shoulder straps all use a foam that also promotes breathability. The shoulder straps and lumbar pad are covered with a material that promotes moisture absorption.

The pack's body uses a silicone-impregnated nylon for durability and waterproofness. There is also a hydration sleeve inside, large enough to hold 3 liters (reservoir sold separately).

Other features include side mesh pockets with angled openings for easy user access, two ice axe loops with closures, three daisy chains, and two side compression straps. The pack is available in small, medium, and large sizes.
