The fully-active Maestro rear suspension on the Giant Reign 2 makes this full-suspension bike a genuine all mountain machine. With 6 inches of travel, the Reign 2 can chew up the most obstacle-laden trails and cushion the roughest landings so you'll find yourself riding far above your skill level. The impressive rear traction will keep you in your seat for most uphills although since the Reign 2 weighs in at 29 pounds you probably won't be the first to reach the top. Unless you're a racer those couple of extra pounds shouldn't matter too much. This full-suspension bike pedals smoothly with no bob, even when riding out of the saddle. It's on downhill rides, though, that this bike truly excels. The Giant Reign 2 is a rugged full-suspension bike built for aggressive cross-country riding.

Cons: not the lightest bike on an uphill ride, not the best tires either.
