An excellent value, the JES1855PCH offers an easy-to-use sensor system that enhances your ability to get 10 categories of food heated to the proper temperature. This sensor automatically adjusts cooking times for foods that are often under heated or overcooked in a microwave, regardless of quantity. It handles 10 of the most common ones, including beverages, vegetables, popcorn, potatoes, reheated foods, meats, frozen entrees, pizzas, and soups. Defrosting capability is an equally important consideration for many families and this model holds its own here as well, with both by-weight automatic defrosting and timed options that ensure quick and easing thawing of your frozen favorites.

1100 watts of power ensure fast cooking--probably faster than an older model you're replacing, so prepare to lessen your cooking times. GE makes it easy to program this model. Just refer to the help pad if you need assistance using the features. This model has a bisque finish, but Sears also carries this full-size microwave in white or black.
