GE Slimline Corded Phone with Caller ID

Date Published: 10/26/06

This corded Slimline telephone offers functionality for a very low price. Features on this phone are kept to a minimum; however, the phone does support Caller ID, which is displayed on the back of the handset. Also on the back of the handset is a convenient button dedicated for dialing the Caller ID number displayed. Otherwise, the telephone has just the basics: redial, flash, 10 speed-dial locations, and hearing-aid compatibility. Unfortunately, the handset-to-base cord is quite short, so if you mount it on a wall, you can't travel far while talking. Otherwise, the Slimline is a reasonable option for people needing a spare phone, especially if they're worried about being able to contact people during power outages.

Pros: Price, Caller ID
Cons: Minimal features, cord is very short
