GE 29488GE2 4-Line Expandable Speakerphone

With the ability to expand to 16 extensions, the GE 29488GE2 4-line system is a good buy for busy homes and larger offices.
What makes this phone stand out is its programmability--each phone line can be set for whether or not caller ID information should be saved and each of the four lines also can have its own ringer (and volume level). This makes distinguishing personal calls from clients easy.
Another especially handy feature is that when a line rings, simply pick up the phone and the call will be engaged. You don't have to press the button for the appropriate line.
Along the right side of the phone are sixteen buttons, used for speed dialing or paging/transferring calls to the other extensions. If you choose, you can set your own extension to automatically flip intercom calls to the speakerphone.
As for performance, call clarity is better than average on both the speakerphone and the handset. Other features include: a built-in clock, conference calling, and a 99-entry caller/call waiting ID log.
The GE 29488GE2 phone also includes a data port for modems or fax machines, and it is a great phone for the busy consumer.
