The CC055 can shred documents into crosscut sizes of about 5/32 of an inch by 1.5 inches. It can shred paper clips and staples, but it cannot handle credit cards or other types of plastics. It can handle 10-20 passes per day.

You can place up to six sheets of standard paper through the CC055 during a single pass. The 8.75-inch throat of the CC055 is wide enough to handle standard sheets of paper without folding, but unless a stack of few sheets is neatly aligned, it could be a tight fit. The CC055 includes a two-year warranty on parts and a five-year warranty on the cutter, making it a reliable unit.
