The Advanced Design Series 2860 includes the slim machine with hinged lid; internal storage area, which holds a FoodSaver roll; touchpad control panel; and start-up supply of FoodSaver bags. The unit has three speed settings -- high, normal, gentle -- as well as adjustable settings for moist or dry food, Crush Free Instant Seal and canister mode. You can even manually pulse vacuum and seal a bag. The extra wide sealing strip and vacuum channel is foolproof and produces an extra-secure airtight seal.

By removing the air before sealing, foods stay fresher up to five times longer than when stored in conventional containers or with plastic wrap.
