We find the toys are a hit with our tester, who enjoys turning the pages of the plastic storybook and listening to one of three nursery rhymes. While most entertainers offer similar interactive toys, we find the Intellitainer has more toys than the average entertainment center. As a result, our tester stayed busy--and content--for a longer period of time. The activities teach letters, numbers, colors, shapes, first words, opposites, and more.

The addition of a seat that swivels and slides seems to satisfy a baby's need for locomotion and adds an element of physical and mental stimulation. The fact that the Intellitainer frame stays stable and immobile is a benefit; no need to worry about a curious baby on wheels motoring toward a stairway or other potentially dangerous area. A built-in snack tray is a handy addition and we like the ability to adjust the seat's height as a baby grows.

Two modes of play also help this entertainment center grow with a baby; there is one mode for younger babies and a "learning" mode for older babies that offers another level of feedback and interaction from the toys.
