If you're in the market for a vacuum, the Eureka Limelight Green Capture 8803AVZ may just offer more than you bargained for. The newest offering in the Eureka's bagless lineup, the Eureka Limelight Green Capture does more than vacuum -- it picks up dirt and dust from ceiling fans, as well as the pesky crevice where the carpet and baseboard meet.

The Capture has a telescopic dusting tool with a 3-foot reach. This unique tool is electrostatically charged, which means that as you reach up to dust a ceiling fan, fireplace mantle or pull a cobweb out of a corner, it will stick to the tool instead of spreading around the room. Another unique feature we like about Eureka's Capture is located on the sides of the vacuum near the suction area. There we found what Eureka has dubbed "Dual-Powered Edge Kleeners," and while we normally balk when a company spells "cleaners" like "kleeners," these circular spinning brushes really do work well. There's one on each side of the vacuum and they dislodge dirt and dust in the crevice near baseboard edges. We like this feature because now we don't have to use a separate tool to get these crevices clean.

Another feature we find exceptionally useful is the PowerPaw with RiserVisor, a cleaning brush specifically designed to vacuum stair steps, upholstery or pet hair that just won't let go of carpet fibers. To use this feature, one flips the RiserVisor shield up to expose an angled brush. When the shield is flipped to its original position, the brush returns to a horizontal position for cleaning upholstery and more. While we did find the PowerPaw worked exceptionally well on pet hair (we tested it on long dog and cat hair that was nearly imbedded into favorite spots on the carpet and couch), it seemed slightly awkward on the stairs. Still, this is a useful feature pet owners will love. Plus, a built-in odor-eliminating HEPA filter helps fight pet and other odors that can linger around carpets and upholstery. This Arm & Hammer filter will need replaced every few months.

But what about suction? With all these nifty onboard accessories, it's almost easy to overlook how the vacuum performs overall. It certainly has plenty of chic appeal, with a sporty green finish and modern design. More importantly, however, the Eureka Capture does indeed "capture" carpet debris with an impressive amount of suction. This is one new product that's sure to stick around.
