When it's time to replace factory-installed auto speakers without breaking the bank, Eclipse's SE8355 speakers are a great option. These inexpensive speakers offer a respectable sound at a very nice price, with good looks thrown in to boot.

The SE8355 position a tweeter and a supertweeter over a 5-1/2-inch woofer. Both tweeters are dome designs with Mylar cone materials, while the woofer has a rubber surround to stand up to the rigors of a car interior.

This results in a three-way speaker occupying the same space normally taken up by a single full-range speaker. The design provides a better sound, with each driver component producing only the frequencies it is designed to handle.

The SE8355 speakers have an overall frequency response of 90Hz to 40,000Hz, as well as a sensitivity of 89dB. The MSRP listed is per pair.

It should be noted that these are not designed for use in conjunction with high-power components, as the maximum power handling is rated at 90 watts, with continuous power at 30 watts. Nevertheless, for a lower-power system, the Eclipse SE8355 has a good sound at a very affordable price.
