The Ducane 688 Square-Inch Two-Burner Cast Aluminum Gas Grill provides ample space for cooking up to one dozen burgers or six medium steaks quickly and efficiently.

The primary cooking area measures 688 square inches and consists of a stainless-steel Sear Grid cooking grate. The dual stainless-steel burners provide 32,000 Btu of heat and are u-shaped to spread their heat out over a larger area. The burners are positioned below Ducane's unique La-va-Grate system, which is essentially a double-tiered grate with overlapping runners and a number of briquets that are designed to work in conjunction with the burners to provide even heat throughout the cooking surface. The briquets and grate also catch and vaporize drippings infusing food with a delicious smoked flavor.

The Ducane burners are unique in that they deliver their flame from the top, rather than the side, directing more heat toward the briquettes and, ultimately, toward your food. Our testers loved the fast, easy rotary ignition, which lit on the first try every time.

The temperature is adjusted by two large dial controls, which have a raised center so you can easily grip the knob, push and turn to the desired temperature: low, medium, or high. This model has two 13x16-inch side shelves with removable polyethylene inserts. Other features include a tall cast-aluminum lid with two side-mounted handles, two secondary wire racks, elegant black or stainless-steel pedestal base, and four locking casters.
