Part of the Vision line, this compact canister features a clear dirt-collection compartment for bagless operation. Large rear wheels and a carrying handle make the unit very portable and easy to maneuver. A removable shoulder strap provides added convenience, especially on stairs. A 20-foot power cord, which wraps neatly around the unit’s base, will get you around a room or two without having to change outlets. Several accessories are included, although they are not stored on board. A hose, two wands, crevice tool, upholstery tool, and bare floor nozzle are the unit’s arsenal for cleaning furniture, carpet, hard floor, and hard-to-reach areas. Like most compact canisters, there is no motorized brush roll, only straight-suction, meaning the unit is perfect for hard floors, but is not quite as effective for pulling out dirt between carpet fibers. However, if you opt to purchase this vacuum, you can later upgrade it with a Power Pak—a deep-cleaning motorized brush roll and accessories—for excellent carpet performance. Rounding out the unit is a Microfresh filtration system, which traps 99 percent of dust and allergens. For small homes, apartments, or as a secondary vacuum, this lightweight canister is worth a look.
