The Denon DVD-756S universal player is a good combination of high-end technology and affordable construction. In addition to broad disc compatibility, the DVD-756S includes some advanced picture enhancement functions and adds the benefit of an HDMI output.

The DVD-756S is compatible with DVD-Video and DVD-Audio, as well as DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW. It can also handle SACD, audio CD, CD-R/RW and recordable CD containing JPEG images. The system will even play MP3 and WMA files burned to CD and DVD.

Faroudja's DCDi de-interlacer technology reduces jagged edges that are occasionally visible during DVD playback. The DVD-756S is a competent unit, and it shows that you can find HDMI connectivity, Faroudja video enhancement and excellent disc compatibility in a relatively affordable universal player.
