Denon DRA-395

Date Published: 5/12/08

The Denon DRA-395 is a very sophisticated, flexible receiver that offers setup options that you never thought would be possible. It handles the basics without a glitch--the amplifier has 80 watts per channel at 8 ohms and the system has an overall frequency response of 10Hz to 50kHz (+/-1.5dB at one watt).

This very powerful receiver can store 40 AM/FM stations in preset memory, with an automatic preset setting for FM stations. It has basic tone controls--bass and treble. There are six audio inputs, including a phono input, and three video inputs. The real impressive features of the DRA-395 are the video switching capabilities.

The DRA-395 has component video switching, and it can also switch audio and video sources independently. It can route a different video signal to another room, with the audio as well. The DRA-395, with a preprogrammed remote control, is a versatile system that can handle just about any situation you can dream up.
