The DP-29F is a belt-driven turntable with a DC servo motor that controls the die cast aluminum platter. This system produces very stable, solid performance with a wow and flutter of less than 0.15 percent. It uses a moving magnet cartridge (Denon's DSN-82) on a dynamically balanced straight tonearm. That is what contributes to the terrific sound quality of the DP-29F.

There are two main features that make this an extremely simple system to use. It is a fully automatic system--touch one button, and the turntable starts, the tone arm moves into position, plays the record, and then returns to the original position. The turntable also has a built-in phono equalizer, so you use the DP-29F with a receiver or amp that does not have a phono equalizer on board.
