Denon CDR-W1500

The Denon CDR-W1500 is a dual-drive CD recorder specifically designed for fast and sophisticated copying. One drive is a conventional CD playback drive, while the other is a CD-R/RW-recordable drive. Tracks can be copied from one drive to the other at double speed, and CD finalizing also takes place at double speed. Both drives will play back CD and CD-R/RW, and the playback drive can decode HDCD. Both can even play discs simultaneously and output separate stereo signals.
Disc Dubbing copies all information from a source disc to a destination disc, including text information. In addition, text information can be manually entered onto a disc for finalization. The Synchronized Recording function automatically starts recording when an audio signal is detected, and Scan Record plays the beginning of each track so users can identify which tracks they want to record. CD recordings can also be made from external analog sources.
The CDR-W1500 has one optical and one coaxial digital input, two optical and two coaxial digital outputs, one set of stereo analog inputs, and two sets of stereo analog outputs. This is a high-end dual-drive component; its aluminum front panel visually separates it from other plastic components, and its features and flexibility place it a cut above many other CD recorders.
