The DeLonghi Indoor Grill BG35 is sensibly designed to deliver an authentic grilled flavor without ever leaving your kitchen.

Part of DeLonghi's Metal Collection, the Indoor Grill features a sturdy 21x12-1/2-inch base with cast-aluminum grill plate, tempered glass lid and removable temperature probe.

This unit provides easy countertop grilling with its nonstick slotted grates that heat quickly and impart a delicious grilled flavor with traditional barbecue sear marks. The grate has an embedded heating element, with three temperature settings: low, medium and high for preparing everything from burgers and frankfurters to grilled shrimp, chicken or vegetables. The open-style grates also allow grease to drip through so foods are healthier.

We loved the nonstick plate, which made turning easier and also cleaned up with relative ease. One other unique feature of the grill was an Aroma Scenter cup, which lets you add flavor to grilled foods by inserting a cup of water and adding herbs and/or spices to infuse the grilled foods with extra flavor. Flavorings might include chopped garlic, lemongrass, rosemary, or mesquite or hickory smoking chips. Because the flavorings are immersed in water, you'll get the benefit of the flavor without the added smoke. The tempered glass lid keeps steam and flavor close to the cooking surface, for moist, delicious results.

The grill was easy to setup and disassembled quickly for easy cleanup in hot, soapy water. You should avoid using metal utensils, which can scratch the nonstick surface.
