Curtis RCD670 boom box
Date Published: 1/7/08
The Curtis RCD670 is an interesting CD boom box, as it can do much more than just play standard CD. In addition, the RCD670 can handle CD-R/RW, including those loaded with MP3 files. This provides up to 10 hours of music on a single disc. The RCD670 has advanced programming capabilities as well, with a 32-track programmable memory and multiple search functions.
The RCD670 has a built-in digital AM/FM tuner to precisely lock onto favorite stations, and it includes memory presets for 20 stations. The telescoping antenna helps with radio reception, and it folds away when not needed. There is a stereo headphone jack for personal listening.
The rounded shape of the RCD670 is designed for looks as much as for function, as the placement of the speakers creates a wide stereo image. The slight downward-firing positioning of the speakers makes the RCD670 a better candidate for placement on a high bookshelf as opposed to a lower surface. Nevertheless, the RCD670 is ideal for anyone on a budget who has a large MP3 music library on disc.
