Although the internal Flash memory is only available in 128MB or 256MB (the $99.99 MSRP is for the 256MB version), there is a memory card slot that supports SD or MMC cards, so users can add up to 512MB of removable memory. This is extremely convenient, especially for those that have another system that accepts SD cards, such as some newer car stereo head units. The C100 has a built-in FM radio for another listening option. The stopwatch has a countdown timer and a lap timer with splits.

Users can employ one of the four preset equalization curves to adjust the sound, and there is a five-band equalizer for user-customized audio. The C100 connects to a computer via USB 2.0. Extra software is not necessary, as the player appears as an external storage device for drag-and-drop file transfers.

The unit will play for about 18 hours on a single AAA battery. The MuVo Sport C100 is the ideal player to keep in a gym bag, and since the memory card and battery are removable, it can be updated whenever and wherever.
