A 2-cylinder, 27-hp Kohler engine -- with overhead valves for cooler running and longer life -- powers this workhorse. It accepts grounding attachments, which make it an effective mower on hilly or challenging terrains. The four-gallon gas tank allows for approximately four acres of uninterrupted mowing, and the seven mower blades can be adjusted to seven cutting heights, from 1.5 to 4 inches.
